Thigh Lift
A thigh lift is designed to improve the appearance of the thighs, by reducing excess skin and fat that will not be improved by liposuction alone. This procedure removes the inner thigh skin, leaving it better toned and more proportional to the lower leg and body.
What is a Thigh Lift?
A thigh lift is an invasive technique that attacks excess fat and skin of the thigh region. Additionally, it can lessen the circumference of the thighs and reduce cellulite. The result of a thigh lift is a smoother, smaller appearance to the thigh region.
What is the Thigh Lift Procedure Like?
General anesthesia with numbing will be used to reduce bleeding as well. The patient will not feel any discomfort or pain during the procedure. Once the anesthesia has worked well, Dr. Thomas will make an incision along the thigh and remove excess fat and skin. Sometimes, Dr. Thomas may recommend using liposuction to remove additional fat from the area. Next, he will suture the incision site. The incision sites will be dressed with bandages. The entire procedure typically takes no longer than three hours and results are visible immediately.
